Daniel is one of those amazing stories in the Bible that most of us struggle to even imagine. There he was a Jewish hostage, taken from his home by the oppressors. And by the grace of God he ends up in the palace of multiple kings giving counsel and leadership to the largest empires of his day. 

What an amazing platform! Just imagine if a country conquered your homeland and took you away to serve in the government of their ruler. What thoughts would go through your mind? You might feel abandoned by your country. I'm sure you would feel lonely and out of place. You might also feel angry at your oppressors.

The functional unit of a community, society and even a nation is the family. History tells us that civilizations have risen or fallen based on their realization of the role of families as the building blocks of society. Even in our day and age a lot of lip service is given to the importance of the family.  However, good models of stable and strong families are rare. People are constantly seeking examples of healthy families. When we follow biblical principles in building our families, people will be attracted to our way of life and eventually seek after what we value and believe in. In this way our families can be powerful ministry platforms.Read more

It is amazing how simple Christian life can be if we only follow the basics that we learn during our first steps as new believers. The promise that we have been given is that when we do our part in extending God’s Kingdom, God will provide all our needs, including those desires that are in alignment with His will for us. Our work life and the businesses that we run are an integral part of God’s purpose for our lives. Hence, the best favor we can do to ourselves is to focus on God’s Kingdom above all else.Read more
